I just unlock it so I didn't know much yet about this skill but the first tier of skills seems like a passive skill to buff your exp rate, enhance your resurrection speed and increase HP and MP speed regen.
1st Tier Skills
Play Dead
The waiting time to revive is reduced.
Exp Gain Up
Exp Gain from battles increases by 1% per skill level.
Drop Rate Up
Drop Rate from battles increases by 1% per skill level.

Natural HP regen increases.
===Short Rest ===
Natural MP regen increases.
